Tens of thousands flee intensifying clashes in Myanmar’s Shan state

They are among 500,000 newly displaced persons across Myanmar since fighting between junta troops and anti-junta forces escalated at the end of October, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA).
